Plantation drive was conducted by organization at several places around Ranchi in Urban and Rural areas. Locals and children participated in this drive with enthusiasm. Fruiting, Climatic and medicinal plants were chosen for this purpose. Mega plantation drive was conducted in Pithoria, Aara, Burmu and Thakurgaon villages by associates of SASAK, where more than 500 local species were planted.
Team SASAK researched upon Draft New Education policy 2019 and presented the findings to MHRD, GOI. The findings gave special mention to the aspirations of education in tribal and hard to reach areas. It recommended the 3 language policy formulation to give boost to local languages of tribal areas. The findings suggested that “Learning how to learn” shall remain core focus of entire education exercise. A special drive has been suggested by Team to bridge the gaps of literacy, numeracy and comprehension by foundational learning.
The National level journal on “ Sansadiya Loktantra evam Arthik prabandhan ” was duly released by Hon. Governor, Jharkhand Smt. Droupadi Murmu at Governor’s House, Ranchi on 20th Feb 2020. In her speech, Hon. Governor commended the efforts of Organization in bringing forward research articles on such a complex issue.
A representation group led by Secretary Mr Ayodhyanath Mishra Presented a detailed Vision document on Jharkhand’s planning and Budget to Hon CM Shri Hemant Soren. The document emphasized on efficient planning of State’s resources, financial discipline, enhancement of internal resources and an output driven mechanism for social development in the State.
Hon. CM appreciated the concerns and solutions raised by organization and expressed his willingness to incorporate element and spirit of document for better planning.
Samajik-Arthik evem Sansdiya Adhyayan Kendra conducted a detailed discourse upon Financial planning by 15th Financial commission. The debate and presentation was held at Hotel Green park, Lalpur. Experts put forward detailed issues plaguing the development of State.
SASAK prepared and presented a detailed Memorandum before Hn. Chairman,15th Finance Commission regarding Jharkhand’s major issues on Irrigation, Agro-allied, Social-Tribal welfare, Infrastructure, Pollution control ,Education, Health and HDI. The centre specially highlighted issues of 19 aspirational districts.
A representation of SASAK met Hon. Development Commissioner and apprised him of its finding with respect to Aspirations of the different sections and geographic areas of the State. Particularly the challenges before the Tribal community of the state, specially education, livelihood, equitable access to development were discussed with Hon. Development Commissioner Shri Sukhdeo Singh.

Governor commended the efforts of Organization in highlighting the challenges in education and bringing forward thoughtful solutions.
Education is backbone to a civilized society. Present day changes in Indian society have impacted Education in various ways. Macaulay Education System in India has lived its usefulness, but changes in socio-economic and technology sectors have posed new challenges. The book contains erudite articles from learned people from across the country, which not only presents the true picture of situation of education in India, but also suggests ways and means for its possible reforms at the policy making level, in the days to come.
Members of Samajik Arthik evem Sansadiya Adhyayan Kendra and external experts participated in a 3 hour long seminar at Hotel Green Park, Ranchi to discuss the Fiscal management issues before the state. Secretary Ayodhyanath Mishra reiterated that better fiscal management can lead to better efficiency of a parliamentary democracy.
The key elements highlighted during the seminar were : Efficiency and resource utilization in parliamentary democracy. Is Govt a good financial manager? Internal resource development and taxation. Three tier governance and financial systems.
The inaugural general body meeting was held in presence of dignitaries of all walks of life at Hotel Green Park, Ranchi on 1st Nov 2016. Esteemed audience congratulated the team to proceed with agenda of sustainable social development and think tank movements. A detailed analysis and consultation was carried out about present status of State and role of CSOs. It was duly decided to prepare and present a vision document to CM, Jharkhand regarding planning and budget of Jharkhand. Also to present a memorandum to Hon Governor Jharkhand regarding Higher and technical education.
Team SASAK presented a memorandum and vision document to Hon CM, Jharkhand regarding planning and budget in Jharkhand state at Hon CM Residence on 29th Nov 2016. Hon. CM, Shri Raghubar Das keenly listened to the inputs of the representation team and promised to incorporate the well researched inputs of the Organization for development of State.

Motivation, Counseling and outreach camp for Govt school students of Two high schools of Rahe block : A motivation, counseling and outreach camp was conducted by SASAK volunteer in two Govt High schools of Rahe block. Almost 250 students of Class 9th and 10th participated in the program during different classes.
Team SASAK and its functionaries visited Bero and met Padma Shri Simon Oraon andgifted him SASAK publications. The team conducted a focused group discussion with him on solutions related to water, community mobilization. Further the team visited his water solution sites to understand the planning, implementation and sustainability of his efforts.
State level experts of Agriculture and Allied activities and Policy makers gathered on 14th Oct 2017 to discuss the challenges and way forward for Agriculture in Jharkhand. The core focus of discussion was doubling Farmer’s Income. Ex Director Extension (BAU) Dr. D.K. Singh Dron and Ex Head ICAR Plandu Dr. Shivendra Kumar led the technical discussions. Hon. MP, Shri Mahesh Poddar, Hon. MLA Shri Radhakrishna Kishore and Hon. MLA Shri Shivshankar Oraon led the concerns and solutions from policy side. 70 experts of different wakes of Agri, allied activities, government and CSO representatives participated in the seminar.
The National level journal on “Jharkhand me Krishi – Sankalp evam samadhaan” was duly released by Hon. Governor, Jharkhand Smt. Droupadi Murmu at Governor’s House, Ranchi on 07th Feb 2018. In her speech, Hon. Governor commended the efforts of Organization in bringing forward the commitment by Govt to double Farmer’s income and solutions in context of Jharkhand.
